1929 Victrola Victor VV 2-55 Phonograph
The VV 2-55 was one of Victor's top five sellers. With a very strong single spring motor it continued selling into the 30s after Victor was bought by RCA. It features an Orthophonic reproducer and a brake mechanism for automatic stopping. The turntable base and case are made of metal. There is a record storage bin in the lid.

This player is totally restored. The brittle faux leather covering has been replaced. The inside of the lid and the base have been repainted. The motor has been thoroughly cleaned and lubricated, including the spring. The reproducer has been rebuilt.
